League Lane Options

When it comes to starting a new season, the league lane options can be a little bit messy if you do not pay attention to them. The duration of the practice may be off, some options may be disabled at the lane console, the background of the scoring grid may be a different colour (or image) of what it used to be the previous season, etc. This causes the bowlers to be distracted and very demanding the first week, because it is not the same as they were used to.

To prevent the chaos (!), follow these steps:

1) When you are finished copying a league in Lexer, select Week 1 and prepare it.

2) Go to Conqueror.

3) Go to the Quick Access tab of the Home page and select League Management/League Control.

4) A window opens with a list of all your leagues. The leagues from the past season should be listed as well as the leagues from the up-and-coming season.

5) Select the league from which you just prepared Week 1 and click OK.

6) At the bottom right, click Setup.

7) Select the Technical tab.

8) Click Options.

9) This brings you to the specific set of lane options for this specific league.

10) On the left-hand side, you see the scoring name of all the leagues and tournaments of the past season. Select the scoring name of the past season for this same league.

11) Click Set to League at the bottom right.

12) Conqueror asks if you want to apply the set of lane options of this XYZ league to the current league. Answer YES. By doing this, you are making sure to copy the lane options to the current league.

13) Exit out from the Setup page of the league by clicking the X at the top right.

14) Exit out from the General page of the league by clicking the X at the top right.

15) Go back to the Quick Access tab of the Home page and select League Management/League Control.

16) A window opens with a list of all your leagues. Now that you have copied the set of lane options of the past season of the league to the current league, select the league from the past season and delete it.

17) Confirm by answering YES to this question:

18) Exit out from the League Management/League Control window by clicking Cancel.

19) Repeat Steps 1-18 for all the other leagues.
