Definition: Lane On Advertising is very similar to running a playlist when the lanes are off. The difference is that the images from the playlist will be displayed on the monitors at various moments during the time of play. One image from the selected playlist will be displayed X seconds on the monitors. A few minutes later, another image from the selected playlist wil lbe displayed X seconds on the monitors. This is a great opportunity to sell advertisements to local businesses as restaurants, bars, shops, garages, car dealers, etc.
How to enable a playlist:
1) Go to Front Desk > Lane Features > Lane On Advertising.
2) A window pops up.
- Playlist: Click the drop-down and select the playlist to enable. Because we are limited to one playlist that applies to all the lanes, I personally like to create a specific playlist that includes images of local businesses and in-house images such as F&B featured items, league openings, tournaments to come, etc. I name it LaneOn Advertising so that makes it easy to select it.
- Picture display time (sec.): That is the number of seconds an image from the playlist will be displayed on the upper monitors.
- Frequency (sec.): Select the time-lapse in-between each image that is displayed on the upper monitors.
3) Click OK to finish.
Idea: If a tournament has sponsors, then a new playlist can be created specifically for this event in order to thank them.
