Current Frame Format Scoring Method

Definition:

  • Each frame has a score.  There is no carry over.
  • A strike (X) counts for 30 points.
  • A spare (/) counts for 10 points + the number of pins knocked down on the first throw.
  • The score of an open frame ramins the same: the number of pins knocked down after two throws (without converting the spare).
  • The 10th frame is just like the nine previous frames: a maximum of two balls can be thrown.  If the bowler gets a strike, the 10th frame is done.
  • The maximum score is still 300.  However, it takes ten strikes instead of 12.  If the league is sanctioned by the Canadian Tenpin Federation (CTF), the perfect game is valid.

How to set it up:

1) Turn on the lanes, whether it is a tournament, league or open play.

2) In the All Lanes window, select all the lanes on which the tournament, league or open play occurs.

3) Click Options from the Control Panel at the bottom.

4) In the first tab of the Lane Options (Basic), select Current Frame Format and click Send to lanes at the bottom right.

5) Wait a few seconds for Conqueror to send this modification to the lanes and the Lane Options window with disappear by itself.
