Definition: Parking a lane is like pausing a lane. When should a lane be parked? Imagine a birthday party where they can bowl for two hours. After the first hour, the kids can stop and go to the party room to eat. When they are done eating, they go back to the lane to bowl the second hour. Instead of leaving the lane ON while they are eating, the lane can be parked. The remaining time is kept and they kids can resume their game. Another scenario is the incapacity of transferring a lane when a breakdown occurs and the time to fix the machine is unknown (longer than expected at first sight). While the mechanic is fixing the issue, the lane can be parked.
How to park a lane:
1) From the All Lanes window, select the lane that needs to be parked.
2) Click Close at the bottom right.
3) Click Park.
4) Answer YES to the following question: There are pre-assigned frames/time reamining on lane X. Are you sure you want to proceed?
5) The Park button from the control panel of the All Lanes window is now lit up. If Parked Lanes has been added to the Quick Buttons of the Terminal Setup, it is be highlighted yellow.
How to unpark a lane:
