Retrieving the Scores With Pin Positions

CONQUEROR

1. Go to the All Lanes window.
2. Select the first lane on which the match of the league or tournament occured.
3. Click Print Games in the control panel at the bottom.
4. Click OK if Conqueror tells you there is no data or something like that.
5. Next screen:
   • Lanes: Click the blue bar, select the lanes on which the league bowled, click OK.
   • From Date – To Date: Make sure to select the right date, the date on which the league bowled.
   • Open: Uncheck that.
   • Tournament: Uncheck that.
   • League: Check that.  Click the drop-down and select the Scoring Name of the league.  Unsually, the scoring name corresponds to a short name you manually enter in Lexer.  This is something we recommend at all times when creating a new competition in Lexer.  In that example, no scoring name was entered in Lexer and that explains why it has random characters (a mix of letters and numbers).
   • Click Apply Filters.
   • On the right-hand side, the relevant data shows up.  Every line has a checkmark because you want to import the scores of the latest week bowled for every lane and every bowler.  Click Score at the bottom right.
6. Next screen:
   • Grouped by lane + Player Name + Pin position.
   • Click Preview.
7. Next screen:
   • It shows the games and pin positions of each bowler.
   • Click Export at the bottom right.
8. In the File Explorer window:
   • Make sure you are in the right folder, the folder that corresponds to the current season.  If your Lexer files are saved on OneDrive, then it should be OneDrive > Lexer Leagues and Tournaments > Current Season (2022-2023 in the video).
   • Click the drop-down next to Type and select XML.
   • Pay attention to the name of the file.  It has the date and time at which you are saving this file.
   • Click Save.
9. In Conqueror, exit out from the preview document and from the Print Games window by clicking the X at the top right corner.

LEXER

1. Select the latest week that was bowled and click the “More Options” button (the lines) attached to Retrieve Squad Scores.
2. Click Import Scores.
3. In the File Explorer window:
   • Find and select the XML file you just saved.   Make sure to select the right file.  Pay attention to the date and time.
   • Click Open.
4. At the end of the line of the selected week, a printer icon indicates that scores are in and a green checkmark on the little calendar icon shows that the week was bowled.
5. Click the little brown diskette at the top right to save.
6. Upload the results on the Internet as usual.
