Workshop Mode

Definition: This function disables a lane from being open while being fixed by the mechanic.  When seeing that the lane is under the workshop mode, the employee at the front desk must pay attention and get the green light from the mechanic to restore the lane and rent it.  Never assume that no one is out there because you hear nothing.  The mechanic may be looking for a part, analysing the issue or just working quietly.  This is a very important safety measure.

Performing this feature may require additional security.  If prompted, please contact a manager to unlock this privilege for this one time or permanently from the User Profile Setup.

How to enable Workshop Mode manually:

1) Go to the All Lanes window in Conqueror and select the lane that needs to be fixed.

2) Click Services in the control panel at the bottom.

3) Click Workshop, make sure that the pinspotter is set to be OFF and confirm by clicking OK.

4) The lane shows a sign that the lane is being fixed and the opening buttons are absent.

How to restore a lane:

1) Go to the All Lanes window in Conqueror and select the lane that was just fixed.

2) Click Workshop in the control panel at the bottom.

3) Click OK to restore the lane.  You may not have to set the pinspotter ON by the way.

4) The lane goes back to a CLOSED state and it can now be open as normal.
