There is a way to add a substitute bowler from the bowler's console, but this article shows how to do it from the front desk computer.
Option 1: If the substitute bowler is new, substituing for the first time
1. Go to the All Lanes window in Conqueror > Select the lane on which the new subsitute bowler bowls > Click Score in the control panel at the bottom.
2. Click the name of the regular bowler being substituted.
3. Change the name to the one of the substitute bowler.
4. Click OK to confirm.
5. Click the X at the top right to exit out from the Score window.
Lexer understands that this is a totally new bowler when retrieving the scores. However, according to the rule book of the league, you may have to change a few things here and there in Lexer (as the entered average of this new substitute bowler, handicap value, etc.). Only God know at this stage, because every league has its own rules.
Option 2: Selecting an existing substitute bowler
1. Go to the All Lanes window in Conqueror > Select the lane on which the new subsitute bowler bowls > Click Score in the control panel at the bottom.
2. Click the name of the regular bowler being substituted.
3. Click the Substitute button at the bottom right.
4. From the list of bowlers, select the substitute's name.
5. Click OK to exit out from the Player Archive window.
6. Click OK to exit out from the Modify bowler window.
7. Click the X at the top right to exit out from the Score window.
