Definition: The No-Tap Classic Game is very popular in tournaments. The original game is to knock down nine pins on your first throw to get a strike. These days, there can be a couple of variations as knocking down seven or eight pins on your first throw or converting a split to get a strike. One last option is to get a automatic spare when having a split on your first throw.
Note: Building a no-tap tournament in Lexer (the league and tournament software) is identical to building a scratch tournament. The only thing you have to remember is selecting the no-tap format the tournament is based on in the set of lane options of this tournament in Conqueror.
Here are the steps to enable the No-Tap Classic Game:
1) After the rosters have been sent to the monitors, go to the All Lanes window in Conqueror > Select all the lanes on which the tournament is bowled > Click Options from the control panel at the bottom.
2) In the Basic tab (the default one), click the blue bar under Classic & Skill Games and select the format of the tournament. It is not required, but you may add Split converted = Strike or Split = Spare as an extra.
3) Click OK to confirm.
4) Click Send to lane. Wait a couple of seconds for the game to be sent to all the lanes. The lane options window will close by itself.
