Definition: Lucky Train is a chance game. By definition, a chance game means that it does not require any skills to win. However, make sure to be in accordance with the laws from the Lottery and Games board of your province. You may still ask the winner to throw a ball on the lane and hit a certain amount of pins to claim the prize.
This is perfect to randomly give out prizes of all kinds: soda, free game, slushie, gift certificate, game card for the arcades, etc. When the game starts, Lucky Train is announced on the upper monitors. Then, a long train travels among the selected lanes. After a certain period of time, the train stops and the door of one wagon opens to show the winner.
How to run Lucky Train:
1) Go to the All Lanes window and select the lanes on which Lucky Train will be run. It does not have to be all the lanes. Select whichever lanes are required.
2) Click Special F. at the bottom left and select Lucky Train.
3) The Lucky Train window opens up. Give it a couple of seconds.
- Lanes: These should correspond to the lanes that were selected earlier.
- Winner: Conqueror generates a winner at random. HOWEVER, if you do not want this person to win, click the blue bar to get a different name. (It shows No Winner here, because it is a demo.)
- Duration (sec.): This is the number of seconds the train will run on the monitors before stopping to showing the winner.
- Volume: Pump up the volume to hear the bells and whistles of the train and make the game more interactive.
- Click Start when the crowd is ready to play. (The start button is greyed out here, because it is a demo).
4) Look at the upper monitors to see the train going. When it stops, an arrow points towards the lane on which the winner is.
5) Click Close to exit out from the Lucky Train window.
